Bring a Kid to TXST Day 2026

Bring a Kid to TXST header

Join us for 2026 Bring a Kid to TXST Day on Monday, June 22, from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. in the LBJ Ballroom.

This year, we’ve made the Bring a Kid to TXST Day programming more intentionally career-oriented, helping kids understand not just what they see on campus, but the jobs and pathways behind it! Our goal is to inspire children to explore career opportunities, develop essential skills, and envision their future with confidence while seeing how higher education connects to real-world opportunities.

This year's agenda features activities for young Bobcats (ages 5-15) in grades K–9. Activities throughout the day may include hands-on STEM discovery at the Ingram Hall Makerspace, a Glass-Bottom boat experience with the Meadows Center, activity stations and tours with Campus Recreation, a visit to Strahan Arena, a building tour with hands-on activities at the McCoy College of Business, career framing and mapping with Career Services, and a walking tour of the beautiful TXST campus.

Participants will be able to select their preferred agenda experience based on grade level during registration (Check out our four agenda experiences below!). Full agendas will be shared with registered participants ahead of the event.

A big thank you to all our campus partners for making this event possible!

* Please note: Glass-Bottom boat tours are limited in capacity and available on a first-come, first-served basis based on registration.
