Step Into Your Leadership at Texas State’s Supervisor Development Day!
Texas State’s Supervisor Development Day is a hands-on professional development experience designed to help supervisors lead with greater clarity, confidence, and consistency.
Throughout the day, participants will explore practical strategies for navigating common supervisory challenges, strengthening communication, supporting employee development, leading through change, and addressing performance concerns.
Sessions will emphasize practical tools, real-world scenarios, discussion, and opportunities to practice skills that supervisors can take back to their teams immediately. The day will conclude with an opportunity to connect with Texas State’s HR Business Partners and learn more about how they can support supervisors and their teams.
This event is limited to 75 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must have at least one direct report to register.

To help Texas State supervisors navigate these shifts, SDD focuses on the essential, rising human-centered capabilities needed to lead teams effectively through changing dynamics.
